John C. Wilson & Bro. Danny Withers officiating. Friends may call from 6pm-8pmCT, Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, and after 1pmCT, Sunday at the church. She was the daughter of the late Cosby & Golda Meece Cooper. She died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 7 days. She was a retired teacher and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Vernon Shepherd and a brother, Kenneth Cooper.
