Letter: Thank you, Mr. Locksmith, you were truly an angel

Betty Coop writes:
I have a praise to share about God's goodness and His close interest in our everyday lives. Today I found myself locked out of my house. I had gone outside and my keys were left inside. Somehow, the storm door locked and I could not get back in. I could see my keys laying on the bar, but out of reach. I walked around for a few minutes, trying to get a grip on my problem. I raised my hands and said "God, what am I to do?" I saw my good friend, who lives across the road, out in her yard.

I walked over and we were discussing my dilema when she said "Look, look, there is a locksmith coming down the road." We began to wave and shout. He stopped and I told him I had locked myself out of the house. He asked if I had called him. I replied "No, God called you."

He said "I have been called by Him before." We returned to my house where he unlocked my storm door. He said he did not understand how the door had locked. My offer to pay him was refused, so we exchanged hugs and talked about God's goodness and he went on his way. I really believe God sent him to show how He cares about us in all situations.

This experience was a blessing to me and that is why I am sharing it with you. Thank You, Mr. Locksmith. You were truly an angel. --Betty Coop
