Campbellsville PD investigating Convenient Store burglary report

Owner reports damage to fixtures and theft of undetermined amount of cash. Description of suspected perpetrator and suspected accomplice in story which follows. Public's Assistance requested.

News from the Campbellsville Police Dept.

The Campbellsville Police Department responded today, Tuesday, March 18, 2014, to a report of a Burglary at the Convenient Store located on South Central (KY 70).



The Campbellsville Police responded to a reported burglary at approximately 3:50 Am Tuesday March 18, 2014. Officers Daniel Forbis and Dexter Colvin initiated an investigation. The owner reported damage to fixtures inside the store and theft of an undetermined amount of cash.

Officers continue to review surveillance camera footage to identify the perpetrator. From their review, a person - believed to be male wearing black clothing, a mask and a toboggan used a pry tool to enter the store thru the front doors. The perpetrator then forced their way into cash registers and ATM machine. - The investigation supports that the perpetrator was picked up by a passenger car in the parking lot of Campbellsville Laundry and Cleaners. The Campbellsville Police Department is asking for assistance from anyone with information about this crime.
