Two vehicle fatality collision on US 127 takes life of Hustonville man

Tragedy occurs 2 miles N of Liberty, KY

LIBERTY, KY) - Trooper Kevin Roberts is investigating a fatal collision that occurred 2 miles north of Liberty on US 127 at 6:36pmET. Marvin J Lee, age 49 of Liberty was traveling southbound on US 127 in a 1989 Toyota pickup when he crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2005 Suzuki. The Suzuki was operated by 26-year-old Michael Beal of Hustonville. Lee was slown from the scene to the UK Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Michael Beal was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Casey County Coroner. Seatbelts were not in use. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Roberts. Trooper Roberts was assisted at the scene by Casey County Fire, EMS, and Rescue. - TROOPER CLINT WALKER
