Special to ColumbiaMagazine.com The Russell County Lakers outscored the Adair County Indians 30-3 from the three point line on their way to a 71-48 victory last night. The Lakers connected on 10 of 16 from behind the three point line while the Indians were a frigid 1 for 16. The Indians entered the game connecting on 41 per cent from the trey on the season. The Lakers led 20-13, 36-24, 51-35, and 71-48 at the end of each of the four periods. Senior point guard Matt Fudge led the Indians with 14 points. Rounding out the scoring were Chance Melton 8, Ty Bennett 8, Jacob Pooler 6, Zach Hutchison 5, Marshall Shelley 2, Corey Melton 2, Trevor Willis 2, and Kyle Burton 1.
