Injury accident temporarily closes KY 55 Click on headline for story with photo(s)hr> From Larry Smith, FM 99.9 the Big Dawg with information from Alan W. Reed, and Tom Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com Traffic was temporarily stopped and later opened to one lane of traffic this morning between 10am-11amCT/11am-12pmET, on New Columbia Road/KY 55, near the intersection with Tebbs Bend/Romines Loop Road in Taylor County. The driver of a late model Ford Club cab was entrapped after his vehicle hit a guard rail. The driver was extricated by the Taylor County Fire & Rescue and taken to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY by ambulance. In additiion to fire and rescue, the Taylor County Sheriff's Department was on the scene.
