Challenge to photographers: Help get animals adopted

Joyce Coomer writes:
Over the weekend, I read an article in a magazine (can't remember which one as I read four or five) about a photographer who was dismayed at the poor quality of the photographs of animals at a shelter which were adoptable. She donated her time and expertise as a pet photographer, posed the animals, and the resulting photos were posted on the shelter's website. Result - adoption rates skyrocketed.

I challenge photographers in Adair County to do a similar good deed for the animals of the county to help all the animals in the shelters find a good home. - Joyce M. Coomer 270-384-4495

Thanks, Joyce Coomer. Great idea. From a taxpayers' point of view, this is great. The more animals adopted, neutered and spayed, and licensed, the better. And the better for the shelters and rescues and animal rights' people, too. And I've heard of even better adoption rates: 100% after the photography is done correctly. - EW
