KSP conducting death investigation off of I-65

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - On Friday, December 13, 2013, at approximately 12:50pmET, KSP Post 4 Troopers located the deceased body of Brooks W. Hohenstein (54) of Elizabethtown, in a wooded area along I-65 Northbound at approximately the 97 mile marker. The victim was reported missing by family members on Decenber 7, 203. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Hardin Co. Deputy Coroner Pat Elmore. No foul play is suspected. The Death Investigation is being handled by Detective Jonathan Vaughn. KSP was assisted at the scene by Hardin Co. EMS as well as the Hardin Co. Coroner's Office. - Tpr. Jeff Gregory
