LWC will graduate largest winter class Dec. 14, 2013

The LWC 98th Commencement ceremony will be held at 10amCT on Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive. The event will also be shown live in the Norma and Glen Hodge Center for Discipleship, 402 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY.

COLUMBIA, KY- Lindsey Wilson College will graduate a record 418 students at the college's 98th commencement ceremony on December 14. At the December 14, 2013 ceremony, Lindsey Wilson will award a total of 219 undergraduate degrees and 199 graduate degrees. LWC awarded 381 degrees last December, which was the largest winter commencement.



The commencement address will be given by the Rev. Todd Love of Columbia, superintendent of the Columbia District of the Kentucky Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.

A native of Western Kentucky, Love graduated from Crittenden County High School, Kentucky Wesleyan College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been pastor of Kentucky United Methodist Churches in Greensburg, Jeffersontown, Louisville, Owensboro and Scottsville. He has also been superintendent of the Kentucky Annual Conference's Madisonville District.

As superintendent of the Columbia District, Love is a member of the Lindsey Wilson Board of Trustees. Love will also receive an honorary doctorate from the college.

Also receiving an honorary doctorate will be fellow Lindsey Wilson trustee and Greensburg, KY, businessman Lenn R. Pruitt.

The ceremony will be held at 10amCT on Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive.
