Wreck at 206 & Greenhills blocks traffic for period of time

The Adair Sheriff's Office and Columbia Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident Wednesday night, December 4, 2013. Margie Straut, 63, of Columbia, KY, was operating her 2004 Ford Taurus when she turned off Greenhills Road, into the path of travel of Brenda Streeval, 55, of Knifley, KY and her 2001 Chevy Tracker.

Streeval and Straut were checked at the scene by Adair EMS and refused treatment.

Traffic was blocked for a period until the roadway became clear.

Deputy Adam Cravens investigated the accident. Columbia Police Officer John Dial and Sheriff Harrison Moss responded as well.

Adair Search and Rescue also responded to the scene. --Deputy Adam Cravens
