KSP investigating 3 vehicle injury collision in Springfield, KY

Injured transported to Flaget Hospital, Bardstown, KY

News from Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

SPRINGFIELD, KY - Tpr. Jonathan Houk is investigating a collision that occurred on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at 4:12pmET. 77-year-old Thomas Crutcher of Liberty, KY, was traveling west on US 150 when he struck a 2002 Ford operated by 65-year-old Arlene Reardon of Springfield, KY, in the rear.



Reardon was stopped in traffic waiting for a 2011 Nissan to make a left turn onto Grundy Road. Reardons vehicle was pushed into the Nissan operated by 48-year-old Ricky Tate.

Thomas Crutcher and a passenger, 72-year-old Marvine Crutcher, were both belted and were not injured.

Arlene Reardon and a passenger, 50-year-old Leona Dick of Science Hill, KY were both belted. Reardon was taken to Flaget Hospital where she was treated for non life threatening injuries. Leona Dick was not injured.

Ricky Tate and a passenger, 45-year-old Marilyn Tate of Lebanon were both belted and were transported to Flaget for non life threatening injuries. - TFC BILLY R. GREGORY
