Jon Halsey: Overtaxed figuratively and literally By Jon Halsey His Personal Opinion BJF makes a good point. We have a tax imposed by a private corporation, confirmed by a judge we didn't elect and ratified by a "Board" we had no say in appointing. I guess we can look on the bright side and feel we're all grown up now and right in line with the State who has given us a Senator we didn't vote for and the U.S. Senate who for five years has refused to pass a Constitutionally mandated budget, and a President who has seemingly never heard of the Separation of Powers part of the Constitution. Who knew that little Adair County would be at the forefront of defining a new form of U.S. Government. Jon Halsey Seriously "overtaxed" literally and figuratively. - Jon Halsey Comments re article 62466: Wonders about role of court in the hospital tax This story was posted on 2013-10-05 09:12:49
