Old photos remind us of what great childhoods we had Writer encourages more people to dig through their scrapbooks and share them with us Click on headline for complete essay By Peggy Fudge I so enjoy the old photos that appear on CM, both those from before my time and those taken from an era I remember. I especially enjoy photos from the early 1960's when my friends and I were oblivious to the fact that our lives would change so much as we grew up. We were born in relatively prosperous times, not suffering through the depression or the shortages of the war. The old pictures remind me of what a great childhood I had, and they prompt contemplation of life today. I hope more people will dig through their boxes of memories and share them with us. And many thanks to those who have already done so. - Peggy Fudge This story was posted on 2013-09-21 16:21:17
