Men of the Columbia Christian Church, ca 1948-1952 LOCAL HISTORY: Columbia Christian Church Click on headline for story with photo(s) Mr. Richard Phelps sent the accompanying photo from Nancy Lowe Sims church photos and albums, and asks if readers will help identify the uncertain names. "I have been working on this for a little while trying to get all men identified. Maybe your lookers can help positively identify everyone and the ones that I have marked Uncertain," he writes. "We think about the photo is ca 1950, and feel certain the date is in the 1948-1952 period, he continued. "World War II Vets are present and Korean Vets are present. Either the Korean War was not started at the time of the photo, or it was over and they were back. Not sure." "Bob White is the only identified man still alive as far as anyone knows. Pretty amazing to me; many of these men would be about in there upper 80's as well if they were alive," he adds.
