  • Holly Kerns, Sano, KY - Pumpkins! Both Decorative & Cooking, all sizes. Bodacious Corn. Green Beans. White Potatoes. Yellow Squash. Sweet Potatoes. Turnip Greens.
  • Prof. Jeff Scott, Antioch Orchard, Antioch, KY: : A pretty good load with four kinds of apples. (Free consultations, mostly on Apples. In the shadow of Lindsey Wilson College, the sometimes latent-in-old-age pedagogue, comes out in the Prof. and he waxes educational.He used to pedagogue for the Adair County High School. Today's lessons are on the Apples) He's got: 1) PIPPENS A good red apple. Good eating. Good Cooking. 2) WINESAPS An all around, all American tart Apple. It's an eating Apple, A Cooking Apple. A DRYING Apple. "Makes you grin from ear to ear." 3) MELROSE If you don't know what the MelrOHse is state apple of by now, you may not be allowed to buy it. And, 4) The MUTSU: Highly recommended by Prof. Scott. Yellow Green Apples. Good firm, crisp, sweet eating apple. Downright great for Cooking/Pie Making. It's Ken Babcock's favorite! That's it folks, for now!
