Likes turn of events for Westlake; commends Board of Trustees Encouraged things are heading in a positive direction Carole Thomas After so much time has passed since the saga of Westlake began, I am pleased to see that the officials have been following through with the investigation of the Westlake dilemma. There has not been anything said for a very long time and we were beginning to think that nothing would ever come of it. I commend the Hospital Board of Trustees for taking action to save the hospital. I believe that this Board is managing Westlake issues very well and I appreciate their time spent in doing so. Thanks to the Westlake staff for hanging in there and believing that the hospital is worth saving. We need that emergency room to meet the needs of the critically ill or injured until transports to other facilities can be completed. Today, I am encouraged that things are heading in a positive direction for Westlake. Carole Thomas, R.N. - Carole Thomas This story was posted on 2013-08-02 14:12:26
