LWC Bonner Scholars award $2,000 in grants to Adair Schools

Camp Casey at Adair County Primary Center receives $1,500 grant; Camp Safari at Adair County Elementary School (ACES) receives $500 grant

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Scholars Program awarded $2,000 in grants Tuesday, July 2, 2013, to Adair County schools. The grants will be used to enhance after-school programs at Adair County Elementary School and Adair County Primary Center.

The grants were administered on behalf of the Corella & Bertram F. Bonner Foundation of Princeton, NJ, which helps support the LWC Bonner Scholars Program.



A $1,500 grant was given to Camp Casey, a long-running after-school program that has been held at Colonel William Casey Elementary School and will be held this fall at Adair County Primary Center; and a $500 grant was given to Camp Safari, a developing after-school program at Adair County Elementary School.
