CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Track and field coaching veteran Ronnie Moore has been named the full-time assistant coach for Campbellsville University men's and women's track and field and cross country, CU Athletic Director Rusty Hollingsworth and head coach Hilary Lakes announced Tuesday, June 4, 2013.

Moore, a native of Houston, Texas, brings 20-plus years of coaching experience with him to CU, including collegiate stops at Columbus State University (GA), Shorter University (GA), University of the Cumberlands (KY) and Pratt Community College (KS).

"Ronnie Moore brings to our program the experience needed to move our program forward. Coach Lakes looked for an assistant coach that would complement her coaching ability and style, and allow the staff to have knowledge of each facet of a track program," said Hollingsworth.

Moore will help focus primarily on sprinters and hurdlers with some assistance on jumpers.

"Ronnie brings a great deal of experience to the program. I can't wait to see our improvements with his different areas of experience. He is going to be a great addition to our coaching staff at CU," said Lakes.

Having previously coached at two Mid-South Conference schools, Moore says he is looking forward to returning to the NAIA, especially at Campbellsville.
