Council on Postsecondary Education meets at LWC

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College hosted the April meeting of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education Wednesday-Thursday, April 17-18, 2013.



On Wednesday, CPE members heard from LWC President William T. Luckey Jr., who discussed the liberal arts college's tremendous growth over the last decade and also gave CPE members and staff a tour of the campus, which included a review of the $39 million capital expansion over the last seven years.

On Thursday, the 15-member CPE - which is charged with coordinating change and improvement in Kentucky's postsecondary education system held its monthly meeting in the Norma and Glen Hodge Center for Discipleship. The meeting also included a progress report from the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities. LWC is a member of the 20-school organization. - Duane Bonifer
