Frequent crosser remembers being terrified on Berry Bridge Debbie Selby writes: I have crossed this bridge many times. When I was a child, we had to cross this bridge when going to my grandparents house. My Mom and I almost had to hold our breath until we got to the other side. I was terrified because it creaked and popped as you went over. Someone told me to make a wish while crossing the bridge which would get my mind on something else. The only wish I was interested in was hoping we would get to the other side. --Debbie SelbyComments re photo 48528 Bridges of Green Co KY Berry Bridge from collection of Larry Smith, FM 99.9 FM Operations Manager This story was posted on 2013-02-20 08:55:15
