Commander Hare impressed with SPC Collins

Suggests CM active duty online directory, too
Comments re article 56519 Wants APO address for SPC Collins of Morgans Men Joe Hare writes:
Ed, I had the honor to meet and shake the hand of SPC Collins yesterday afternoon. My impression is that with men like this young soldier this country is well protected.

In my short meeting with him I did learn that there are also 3 other Adair Countians who will be deploying with SPC Collins shortly after the first of the year. Stephanie Caldwell is working on getting a picture and names of these young men to CM so that we all will know whomto say "thank you" to.

When I saw the article where Ms Mullins asked for SPC Collins APO, the thought crossed my mind, that Mr Ed Waggner did really not have enough to do, and to add a page, to his fine media outlet, of all active duty area military heros, with addresses. Just a thought???? -Joe Hare
Thanks, Commander Hare. We've done this at Christmas time in the past. It was a bit more difficult than most to maintain, because of the frequent changes needed. But it's sure worth a try. We'll post news items for families and service men. We do want enlistments, graduations, promotions and deployment news. And we'll research the data base requirements to see if a database is feasible. -EW
