Two car injury accident at US 68/KY 210 intersection

News from Campbellsville Police Department

A passenger in a two vehicle collision at the intersection of US 68/KY 55 and KY 210 in Campbellsville, KY, was taken to Taylor County Regional Hospital by Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS. The collision occurred at 6:39amET, Wednesday, December 19, 2012. The collision occurred when a 1997 Ford Escort being operated by 22 year old Dianna Smith of Campbellsville, KY, was traveling east on US 68 and attempted to make a left hand turn onto KY 210, when the vehicle turned into the path of a 2004 Chevrolet Impala, operated by 49 year old Emily Cundiff of Campbellsville, traveling west on US 68.

Neither driver, Smith nor Cundiff, was hurt, but a passenger, name not disclosed, in the Smith vehicle received treatment at Taylor County Regional Hospital.

Agencies on the scene include Campbellsville Police Department with investigating officer Andy Warren; Campbellsville/Taylor County Emergency Medical Services, and Campbellsville Fire and Rescue. Information from Campbellsville Police Department
