Patrick Ryan Pruitt, age 30 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home. .

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2pmCT/3pmET, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Neil Janes and Bro. R. Thomas Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Pruitt Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-9pmCT/2pm-10pmET, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Patrick Ryan Pruitt was born on November 24, 1982 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, to James Pruitt and Linda Janes Groce. He died on Monday, December 17, 2012 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 30 years, 23 days.

He was a a 2001 graduate of Cumberland County High School and had been a parts salesman. Patrick loved working on cars and motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard "Doc" and Robbie Pruitt, and Guy Janes and Lucy Bybee.

Survivors Include:
  • His mother: Linda Groce and her husband Luther of Burkesville, KY

  • His father: James Pruitt and his friend Kathy Groce of Burkesville, KY

  • His former wife: Brandy Nakay Pruitt of Burkesville, KY

  • His children: Dylan Ryan Pruitt and Lily Nakay Pruitt both of Burkesville, KY

  • Two brothers: Jimmy Lee Pruitt, and Christopher Chad Pruitt both of Burkesville, KY

  • One sister: Angie Dawn Pruitt of Burkesville, KY

  • Special grandmother: Sadie Groce of Burkesville, KY

  • His aunts and uncles: Joyce Cain, Jackie Janes, Larry Janes, Zelma "Sis" Pruitt, Patty Sherrell, and Donnie Pruitt.

  • His special "Sis": Cassie Keen of Burkesville, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
