William Melvin Peevler, Casey Co., KY (1926-2012)

He was a native of Gilpin, KY, the son of the late Oliver and Beulah Lanham Peevler and the widower of Ruby Alexander Peevler. He was the patriarch of a large, respected family. He was an Army veteran, retired from retail sales, and a former orderly at the Casey County Hospital

William Melvin Peevler of Milford, Ohio passed away Sunday December 16, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was 86.

Funeral service is 9amCT/10amET, Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Junior Pittman officiating. Burial will be at Trace Fork Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Visitation is Wednesday from 8amCT/9amET, until funeral service.

He was born Sunday, November 14, 1926 in Gilpin, KY. He was the son of the late Oliver and Beulah Lanham Peevler. He died Sunday, December 16, 2012, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, at the age of 86 years, 1 month, and 2 days.

He was an Army veteran, retired from retail sales, and a former orderly at the Casey County Hospital.

He was the widower of Ruby Alexander Peevler.

Survivors include the following:
  • His sister: Joann Hamlin of Loveland, Ohio

  • Two step grandchildren: Christy Petredis and Aaron Alexander

  • Four step great grandchildren

  • And two step great greatgrandchildren
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a step son, Jimmy Alexander.
