Welcome LWC Commencement visitors, basketball fans

Big Happenings, two major Events, today in Columbia/Adair County

Columbia/Adair County, KY, welcomes two big events today. A very large influx is expected at the record-breaking December 2012 Commencement at Lindsey Wilson College, today. A very large number of visitors from out of town will be in town today. George Kolbenschlag, Adair Countian, and Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway will receive honorary doctorates at the event. The other event which is expected to draw a highly noticeable number of visitors is the Hoopin' It Up Classic at Adair County High School. Games are listed in today's CM events as they occur through the day. The first one, at 11:45 will present a Canadian team playing the ACHS JV's. Games will continue throughout the day, with the final one at 7pmCT/8pmET, when Adair County's Boys Varsity meets Glasgow in a regular season game.
