Dwight Arnold England, 82, Edmonton, KY (d. Dec. 13, 2012) He was a veteran of the Korean War and an active proponent of veterans issues. He was a member of VFW Post 6281 and was past commander of the unit. He will be accorded military honors by DAV Chapter 20 at interment in Glasgow, KY. He was the patriarch of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY, family, the son of the late Hastel and Brentz England, the husband of Virginia Hood England, who survives. He leaves 12 direct leaving descendants. Dwight Arnold England, age 82 of Edmonton, KY, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Metcalfe Co. Health Care Center, Edmonton, KY. Funeral services will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro. Aaron Trimm officiating. Burial will follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Garden with DAV Chapter 20 providing military honors. He was a retired truck driver and a son of the late Hastel and Brentz England. He was a member of the South Edmonton Church of Christ and a US Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was past commander and member of the VFW Post 6281 of Edmonton, KY. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hood England, and the following;
