Bruce Nunn, 64, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Dec. 14, 2012)

He was a member of a highly regarded Metcalfe County, KY, family, the son of the late Fred and Zelpha Rogers Nunn. He was a member, deacon and choir member of the Edmonton Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran

Bruce Nunn age 64 of Edmonton, KY, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Edmonton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pmCT/5pm9pmET, Saturday, December 15, 2012, and after 9amCT/10amET, Sunday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Fred and Zelpha Rogers Nunn. He was employed at Eaton, Dana and Bendix Corp for 37 years.

He was a member, deacon and choir member of the Edmonton Baptist Church. Bruce served in the United States Army and was a Viet Nam Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Daphna Kinnaird Nunn, and the following:
  • Five nieces: Gina Rutledge of Glasgow, KY; Ginger Witherspoon of Smiths Grove, KY; Selena Callaghan of Tennessee; Sarah Hutcheson of Glasgow, KY; and Rhonda Clark of Edmonton, KY

  • Several great nieces and nephews
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers. Robert and Freddie Nunn.
