Two injured in 2 vehicle accident on Campbellsville Street

Both taken to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY for treatment of injuries

Columbia Police Department is investigating a injury accident that occurred on Campbellsville street on at 9:46amCT, Friday, December 14, 2012. Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident located in the 500 block of Campbellsville Street.

The collision occurred when 26 year old Ashley McKibben, who was operating a 2000 Ford Focus, attempted a left hand turn from a private drive onto Campbellsville street and entered into the path of a 2010 Ford Mustang being operated by 19 year old Jasmine Hammond.

McKibben was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY, by Adair County EMS for treatment of injuries.

Both Mckibben and Hammond were wearing seatbelts. The accident is being investigated by Officer Josh Brockman who was assisted at scene by Officer Jamie Cole and the Adair County Search and Rescue. Courtesy Columbia Police Department, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY Jason Cross, Chief
