Edith E. Campbell, Casey Co., KY (1936-2012)

Mrs. Campbell was retired from Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle. She was the widow of Edgar Lewis Campbell, who passed away April 22, 2000.

Edith E. Campbell, of Campbellsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. She was 76.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, December 14, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the funeral home.



Edith E. Campbell, Casey Co., KY (1936-2012)

Born Monday, November 28, 1936, in Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Lela Bell Allen Johnson. She died Tueday, December 11, 2012, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 13 days.

Mrs. Campbell was retired from Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle. She was the widow of Edgar Lewis Campbell, who passed away April 22, 2000.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her son: James (Lois) Campbell of Campbellsville, KY

  • Brothers: Larry Johnson of Hope, IN; Melvin Johnson of Liberty, KY; and Lilburn Johnson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Sisters: Wanda Sanders of Liberty, KY; Shirley Cox of Hope, IN, and Shelby Swafford of Tennessee

  • Grandson: Justin R. (Katie) Campbell of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three step grandchildren: Tammy, Sherry, and Kevin

  • And two step great grandchildren, Austin and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Wayne Johnson; and sisters, Phyllis Cox, Louise Parker, and Daisy Miller.
