ACSO officers arrest pedestrian on DUI charge Man arrested after report of man walking up and down KY 61 north of Columbia. He said he'd swerved to miss a deer and had run off road. After a series of sobriety tests, he's charged with DUI and lodged in the Adair County Jail News from the Adair County Sheriff's Office Deputy Adam Cravens, Officer John Dial and Officer Charles Greer responded to a report of a man walking up and down Hwy 61 North just outside of the city limits Tuesday night, December 11, 2012. Logan Turner of Columbia was the party in question. He told Deputy Cravens and Officer Dial he had swerved to miss a deer and ran off the road into a creek bank. After observing Turner he was given a series of sobriety tests at which point he was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs first offense.
