Sports news for Lindsey Wilson

COLUMBIA, KY - Hickman County's Clayton Bradshaw signed an NAIA scholarship to join the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team for the 2013-14 season, Blue Raider head coach Shaun Cozart announced on Thursday, December 6, 2012.

Bradshaw is undecided on a major and said he picked Lindsey Wilson because he liked coach Cozart and felt he could fit in well with the current team.

Bradshaw has been the most valuable player at Hickman County for four years and has qualified for the KHSAA State Championship the past two seasons. He also recently claimed the Pepsi Mid America Tournament Championship.

The Clinton, KY, native had a senior-scoring average of 74 and finished 28th at the KHSAA championship as a senior. Bradshaw was named to the All A State Tournament Team as a junior.

The avid outdoorsman who also enjoys video games in his spare time hopes to crack the lineup as a freshman at Lindsey Wilson and win a tournament in his first season. - Dan White
