Pansy J. McKinley, 90, formerly of Columbia, KY, died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 8:40pmET, at the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, KY.

Bro. Raymond Martin will officiate at graveside services with burial to follow, will be Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1pmCT, in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. There will be no visitation.



Pansy J. McKinley, Adair County, KY (1922-2012)


Pansy J. McKinley was born February 9, 1922, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of of the late John and Flora Hutchison Jeffries. She died Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 20 days.

She was a member of Lyndon Christian Church in Louisville and a former member of Louisville Nimble Thimbles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace McKinley, Sr., in 1975 and a brother, Bryan Royse.

Survivors include the following:
  • Seven children: Omeira McKinley of Alabaster, Alabama; Wallace McKinley, Jr., of Newport Ritchey, Florida; Bonita Burkhead of Burkesville, KY; Sue Casey, Philip McKinley, Jo McKinley and Karen Dickson all of Louisville, KY

  • Three sisters: Evelyn Brockman and Mildred Baker both of Lake Jackson, Texas; bad Doris Knape of Alvin, Texas

  • One brother: Earl Jeffries of Leonard, Texas

  • Five grandchildren

  • and four great-grandchildren,
Memorials are suggested to Lyndon Christian Church or the donor's favorite charity.
