Remembering Roy Harrington: He was one of a kind

’We lost one of the good ones this week’ - MS

By Melissa Stone

Roy Harrington was one of a kind. He had a knack for telling great stories and lived his life, on his terms, in a manner that allowed for him to be the subject of many of the best stories.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather; a loyal friend; a patriotic veteran; and an honorable man.

We lost one of the good ones this week; but Duuude - as long as Rita, Mel, Cooper, Garner, Skippy, Spearchucker, Doc, Pooh, or the scores of others who loved you have a breath left in their body - you will not be forgotten. It was an honor to have been able to count you as a friend. - Melissa Stone
