The meeting of the board, which oversees the operation of Westlake Regional Hospital and its subsidiary units will mark a new phase in the hospital's recovery from financial difficulties of recent times. For the first time in several months, the hospital will be meeting with a full board. New members Neal Gold and Brad Keltner join Vice Chair Craig Pyles, Secretary Richard Grant, and Treasurer Bruce White. Mr. Gold and Mr. Keltner were recommended by Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton at the November 14, 2012, meeting of Adair Fiscal Court and were unanimously approved at that time. (Adair Fiscal Court Report, Regular meeting, Nov. 2012 The November meeting will open with election of a new officers. Long time chair Jim Evans served in that position for the last time on October 30, 2012. After serving the maximum tenure under the hospital bylaws. The board will also meet and elect officers of the Adair County Public Hospital District Corporation. Westlake's CEO, David D. Rasmussen, will also unveil a recommendation for a Finance Committee at the meeting.
