Site Note: A few items hang fire, lacking essential information A reminder for publicists - Especially during the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holidays: Stay focused. Get higher attendance. Write the CM Events Announcement First. Send it First. CM can always link a longer story later. If you can only write a story or write the CM Event, the Event Listing is Essential. The story is an add-on. If your event is not posted within 2 business hours, there may be a reason: Call us at 270-250-2730. We'll help you with your email submission. It was a busy weekend at ColumbiaMagazine.com the past two days, and a very small number of items couldn't be posted because essential information was not included. The largest number of items delayed were Events/Stories of Events which lacked Street and Number for Venues. As a courtesy to our readers, we simply do not post Events or Stories of Events without all basic information needed to attend conveniently included, in one paragraph as the lead or last paragraph in a story about an event. A very few photos were delayed because of missing names - the ID's of faces in the photo(s). When time is available, the editors at CM do look-ups for information. But posts are expedited when all essential information is included in one-mail, sent Special to ColumbiaMagazine.com, in CM style, and sequence. Fast track your next Events announcement This story was posted on 2012-11-19 06:34:42
