Hey, Lone Ranger, by Veteran Robert Osborne
Robert Osborne, an Adair Countian who came here by way of Lindsey Wilson College, believes in a United States Military strong enough to right a lot of wrong, wherever it happens in the world.


Robert Osborne moved to Columbia in 2006 after a career in the military. He was the Army Instructor for JROTC at Clinton County High School for 5 years, and retired to pursue his passion for music. He has released a full album, Sing Me Home Again, available on Amazon, iTunes, and cdbaby.

Hazardous Weather Hazardous Weather Outlook 3:51 AM ET SUN NOV 11 2012 "STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE TODAY AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TIGHTENS AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM. EXPECT SUSTAINED WINDS BETWEEN 10 AND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 30 AND 35 MPH. USE CAUTION IF PLANNING TO BE OUTDOORS ON THIS WARM HOLIDAY.

A SOLID LINE OF SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG AND JUST BEHIND A COLD FRONT TOWARD DAWN ON MONDAY. ANY THUNDERSTORM THAT DEVELOPS MAY CONTAIN GUSTY WINDS...HEAVY RAINFALL AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. IN ADDITION...CONTINUED STRONG GRADIENT WINDS ARE EXPECTED JUST AHEAD AND BEHIND THE COLD FRONT. EXPECT WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 25 TO 30 MPH."

Veterans Day - Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. South wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. .

Tonight - Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 4am. Low around 58. South wind 13 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
