Kathryn Bland Smith, 90 years of age, Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, died at 2:50amET, Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Maryville, Tennessee. The funeral service will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James E. Jones. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 11am-1pmET/10am-12pm noon CT, at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Grandchildren. Kathryn Bland Smith, Adair Co., KY native (1922-2012) Kathryn Bland Smith was the daughter of the late Ira Grant and Florence Bryant Grant. She was born Wednesday, February 15, 1922 in Adair County, KY. She died Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Maryville, Blount County, TN, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 23 days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Campbellsville Cleaners. She united in marriage to James Bland December 9, 1939. He preceded her in death April 7, 1958. She united in marriage to James W. Smith March 22, 1963. He preceded her in death October 9, 2002. She is survived by the following:
She was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Edna McGaha, James Grant, Marshall Grant and Everett Grant.
