One lane opening, US 31W Hardin-Jefferson Line In area of Train Derailment By Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 4, Elizabethtown, KY The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is opening US 31W (Dixie Highway) to one lane in each direction in the area of the train derailment. US 31W will be one lane each way between Abbotts Beach Road and the City of Westpoint.
