LWC National Alumni will honor three special people

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson College National Alumni Association will honor two alumni and one longtime friend of the college at this year's homecoming weekend.



At the alumni awards breakfast on November 3, 2012, alumni Amanda Main of Louisville, KY, and Adair County native Ben Breeding of Springfield, KY, will be honored and Tula Peterson of Campbellsville, KY, will be named an honorary alumna.

Amanda Main, is a senior attorney at Brown-Forman Corp. who is a strong First Amendment advocate; she will receive the Outstanding Young Alumna Award. Ben Breeding is a 1961 alumnus who retired from a distinguished career in chemicals and manufacturing; he will receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Tula Peterson is a longtime supporter of the college's scholarship program; with the Honorary Alumna Award, she will join five of her siblings, who are LWC graduates.

Ben Breeding, a 1961 Lindsey Wilson alumnus who retired from a distinguished career in chemicals and manufacturing with the Ethyl Corporation will receive the Distinguished Alumnus Award at a brunch at 10amCT, Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Lindsey Wilson College's Roberta Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY. Breeding is a native of Breeding, KY, and a graduate of Adair County High School, Lindsey Wilson Junior College, and Speed Scientific School, University of Louisville, KY.
