Highway conditions at East 80 and Jamestown

By Roger D Smith DMD
Personal Commentary

I was wondering what kind of plans, if any, are being made to correct the muddy mess at the intersection of Jamestown St. and Hwy 80.

I enjoy green spaces as much as anyone and I am sure the new CVS store has followed the new zoning regulations concerning this, but there have to be exceptions to every rule.

If this is not corrected it could prove to be a danger in the freezing weather that is on the way. Perhaps someone forgot that water runs down hill, and that the large trucks that use this area have to have room to turn.

Maybe Mrs. Waggener as a City Council member would comment or pass this concern on to the proper department.

Thanks.
