Chuck Hinman No 166 : Now! Hear this! / Rick Stull It's Just Me Again No. 166: Now! Hear this! /Rick Stull by Chuck Hinman Slightly edited by RHS - - Robert H. Stone The Next Earlier Chuck Hinman column: Chuck Hinman No 079-C: Husbands, Stay out of the kitchen by Chuck Hinman Now! Hear this! -- Rick Stull Dear friends and readers of Chuck Hinman: Being mindful of the infirmities of life when you reach 87, I hope you will forgive me for sharing this very personal note from my good "young" friend -- Rick Stull of Owasso, Oklahoma. When day after day passes and my days on earth continue, I begin to squirm. But I settle down after emails like Rick's and think "OK, Lord -- take your time." I didn't realize that when Rick and I were fishing or "working out" in the Phillips gym at noon, or working side by side in the Pioneer Building in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a ministry (for you) was going on of which I wasn't aware. Thanks Rick for sharing. You made my day and I accept your invitation to go to Murphy's for a hamburger steak (pie not included) with "gravy over all" and especially if we go in your Corvette with the top off! Happy 28th. I remember your singing "Tammy" to your wife "Tammy" at the wedding. I can't believe 28 years have passed. God bless, and thanks Rick for your kind words. The feeling is mutual! (274 lbs - bench press in 1967! I have the card that verifies it! -- CH) A note from Rick Stull, Friday, March 13, 2009 Morning Chuck,(I sent this story to Mr. Stull and got this rest of the story from him Friday, 21 September 2012. RHS) I have now celebrated 31 years with my bride. This story was posted on 2012-09-23 05:50:49
