City of Columbia Flag project adds more names Donations reach over 20% of initial needs goal By Rhonda Loy, Project Director News from City of Columbia Columbia Mayor Mark D. Harris announced in the July, 2012 meeting of the Columbia City Council that private donations for American Flags for display on the streets of Columbia would be accepted. Enough money to buy 200 flags is needed, with continuous donations needed to sustain the fund. As of 9/21/12 our total donations are $1050.00, enough for 42 flags.
