News from Lindsey Wilson College

COLUMBIA, KY - Earth Day came four days early this year at Lindsey Wilson College. LWC students, faculty and staff celebrated the annual day of raising environmental consciousness on Wednesday, April 18, on the college's A.P. White Campus.

Earth Day, which has been celebrated worldwide since 1970, is officially held on April 22, but the LWC community held its activities early this year because the official day fell on a Sunday.

Following several campus-beautification projects, Bluegrass-jazz-folk cellist Ben Sollee of Lexington, KY, performed on the Campus Quadrangle. - Duane Bonifer
