JIM: Mary E. & Samuel H. Pelly anniversary This appeared in the Pleasant Grove community newsletter published in the April 29, 1942 Adair County News. It is transcribed verbatim, including the surname spelling and the date: Mr. Samuel Pelley and Miss Mary McKinley were married by Rev. H.J. Conover on April 14. Mr. Pelley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Pelley and at present is employed in Charlestown, Ind. Mrs. Pelley is the daughter of Mr. Felix McKinley of Garlin. At present the are living in Louisville. We wish this fine young couple the greatest success and happiness they can obtain in life. Discovered in a most timely, expeditious manner by: JIM.
