JIM: The fantastic LWC win; or Methodists 1, Baptists 0 To see the Spectacular Chase Spreen three-quarter court shot: Click to YouTube Video Clip of the play. Remember to turn volume on computer down before clicking if loud audio would distress others. JIM writes: Loved the article, photos, and clip of the fantastic LWC win last night. The final score was 79-78 but I prefer to think of the outcome as Methodists 1, Baptists 0. lol. - JimThe photos are by the best sports photographer in the country, Duane Bonifer. That shot by Chase Spreen will be talked about in Columbia to the the end of time. I had expected it to be an Ozark Peg shot, like the ones Orby Arnold of Mayfield used to shoot full court while in high school, but the video shows it's more of a Billy Conover flying two hand set. Amazing. -EW This story was posted on 2012-01-15 07:54:15
