Mike Watson sends detailed caption for photo 1938 MR School

The photo is one of three extant of the school group. It was posted last week by Tara Hadley-Hansen, who had scanned it from the archives of Edward Hadley.

This is one of at least three photos of this school group. Two photos are almost alike, taken the same day, except in one the teachers are sitting in front of the students. In the second, the teachers are standing at each end, and in this one, the plaque with school and year are almost totally covering the face of Ruby Cape (Coffey). The students and teachers were identified by my mother, Ruby Cape Watson and her sisters, Ella Cape Bunch and Gladys Cape Bunch on several occasions in the 1980s and 1990s.

Some of the same students are present in this photo, but there are additions.
