Tech: Anybody reading CM on a Chromebook? Google's Chromebook has been on sale since June 15, 2011, in Samsung Models available from Amazon.com and at Best Buy Stores. After reading the Google Chromebook website, the device would appear to be ideal for many users. However, reviews of the device have been well less than overwhelming. At CM, we're wondering how the device is working for any readers who may already have one and what kind of experience they're having using it, and especially using it as a device to read ColumbiaMagazine.com. We wonder if anyone can compare experiences on Chromebook vs. iPad or other Tablet vs. Netbooks vs. Laptops vs. Smartphones vs. Desktop Computers for reading CM? And we wonder which device one would purchase to give to a grandparent who is not computer savvy and doesn't have an under 10-year old grandchild for expert advice. (all human models past 2000 seem to have come with OEM provided DNA which gives them intuitions about computers).
