Letter: Veteran writes for contact information

James Treacy writes:
Hi,

My name is Jim Treacy. I served in Vietnam with A Company, 1/6th Infantry, 23rd Infantry (Americal) Division in 1970-71.

One of my best friends in Vietnam was Carol Wayne Bennett who was originally from Edmonton, KY. In Vietnam he went by his second name, Wayne. We lost track of each other after Vietnam. Back then I lived in Quincy, Massachusetts but I now live in New Hampshire.

I did an Internet search on him and see that he is listed in ColumbiaMagazine.com as an Adair County Veteran.
We're posting some of James' letter in hopes that someone from Wayne's family will see it. If you can send us contact information, we'll pass it on to Jim.
