First Printing: Metcalfe Centennial photo book for sale

Limited first edition, 100 copies!

By Gaye Shaw

The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce, 109 E. Stockton ST, Edmonton, KY, announces a new publication is available, a collection of 1960 Metcalfe County Centennial Photos, in a soft cover book, contains forty-seven 8x10 black and white photos made at the Metcalfe County Centennial Parade copied from the collection of Mrs. Pauline Coleman.

The front cover is a color photo of the Historic Metcalfe County Court House made at night while a snow was on the ground during the Christmas season of 2009. The back cover is also a color photo made in the daytime with the snow and shows the Metcalfe County benches in the court house yard. The words "METCALFE COUNTY" reflect in the snow.

Both photos are absolutely stunning and were done by Susan Rea Photography. The book is now available at the Chamber Office for only $10.00. Only 100 copies are available at this time so if one wishes to have a copy, one should purchase it As soon as possible. The office cannot "hold" copies for anyone. A second printing may be done should the first printing sell out quickly but there is no guarantee of that second printing. -Gaye Shaw, Executive Director, Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce, P.O.
