Obituary: Luther Ray Redmon, 70, Adair Co., KY

Mr. Redmon was the owner of L R Redmon & Son Trucking and was a member of the Columbia United Methodist Church.

Luther Ray Redmon age 70 years of 7920 Greensburg RD, Columbia, KY, passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at 7:23pmCT at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital In Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Allen Durrett officiating. Interment will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 4pmCT, Sunday, November 8, 2009.


Luther Ray Redmon, Columbia, KY (1939-1979)

He was born on September 11, 1939, the son of late Luther T. and Pina Lee McKinley Redmon and passed away November 5, 2009, at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 25 days.

Survived by his wife, Reba Pennington Redmon of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Robbin Ray Redmon and wife Beverly of Columbia, KY

  • Three Grandchildren: Rebecca Renee' Redmon, Emily Shay Redmon and Michael Ray Redmon

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one infant brother, Julia Simmons, Virginia R. Morris and Edward Taylor Redmon.

He was the owner of L R Redmon & Son Trucking and was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church.
